Book Group

Do you enjoy reading? Do you like discussing what you read with others? If so then the Book Group is for you.

Anne Watt writes:

The intention of this monthly group is to read, enjoy, (or not!) discuss and review books.  The books we read will be our collective choice.

The group's main focus will be to enjoy discussion with a view to 'broadening our horizons.'

Creative Writing

It's said that there is a book in every one of us.

Gurpal Stickland's Creative Writing Group will continue to meet on the last Monday in the month at 2 p.m. This will provide a good opportunity for people to focus on a writing task.

Sue Furness and Fiona Jackson are hoping to start creative writing courses for both children and adults. You can find out more information about this by clicking here.
